50's Reworked Military Tote Bag

50's Reworked Military Tote Bag

Available dyed black as well as original un-dyed fabric. Multiple bags available. The bag you receive will be the exact same style as pictured with different details and wear.

This 1950’s Dutch army duffle bag has been modified in the Blackstock Atelier for every day wear. The size has been decreased, new shoulder strap added, and top carry tote bag straps added. Shoulder strap can be disconnected at a single point and tucked inside for the bag to be used as a tote.

These bags were issued for a very small period of time to the Dutch army and were replaced by larger bags soon after. Our supplier bought out the Dutch army base which had the surviving surplus of these bags, making them a rare style that you won’t find anywhere else. This style of bag is referred to as a “ditty bag” and is much smaller than the commonly seen top closure military duffle bags issued by many countries.

  • Height: 13” on average, may vary in size slightly

  • Width: 14.5”

  • Various grades. Each bag is unique in its own way due to age and wear. You will receive a bag with all functioning parts. Any cosmetic damage will not affect the bags performance or structure.
